Guildford Boning Plant Climbing Back to Capacity

After a major fire in November 2007, phase 1 of our new facility is complete and now in use. We have made significant investments in our new facility which will bring returns in improved efficiency, traceability and hygiene.

The design of the new plant is revolutionary and maximises the footprint of the existing site. We have also taken the opportunity to become one of the most environmentally friendly meat processing plants in the country. Our new facility benefits from solar water heating, waste recycling, independent water sourcing and energy efficient lighting.

Phase 2 which includes improved office space, planning technology and visitor facilities is in progress and we are looking forward to completion in early 2009.
